Wool Painting with Dani Ives

Join us at 200 Mill for a fun workshop of learning how to "paint" with wool. Dani will guide you through the process of needle felting that will give you the skills to create an image with wool fibers. You'll leave the class with at least one finished project, ready to frame, and the knowledge (plus materials) to keep on creating at home. 

In this class, Dani will demonstrate her tips and techniques to create a beautiful, realistic flower. You'll learn how to block out colors, how to blend colors to add dimension and create sharp lines. You'll also learn how to create your own wool canvas to use as a base. If time allows, we'll begin a second project, so bring an additional photo of your choice for reference.

Your class fee includes 2 hours of instruction and creating time, plus a kit of supplies and materials to take home when class is over. No felting experience is necessary. Registration is required.
